Mr. Kale was born in Dusseldorf, Germany in 1972. He is a first-generation immigrant of Indian descent. His parents immigrated to the United States to further their careers as geneticists. Vijay spent his formative years on Long Island until his parents relocated to Huntsville, Alabama. In 1993, Vijay graduated from the University of Texas at Austin and then went on to earn a J.D. from the University of Houston Law Center. He also holds a master’s degree from the University of Texas School of Public Health. Vijay is a past President, Secretary and Treasurer of the South Asian American Bar Association of Houston. Moreover, he is active in many community and professional activities.
